Our Concept
“To provide overwhelming hospitality and the best Italian cuisine in Kyoto in a luxurious space”.
Away from the hustle and bustle, in a quiet atmosphere, the best Grand Maison in Kyoto….
The interior is decorated in shades of gold, silver, and dark navy, creating a sense of unity in a luxurious, adult atmosphere that creates a sense of the extraordinary.
The chef, who has over 30 years of experience in Italian cuisine, offers new Italian cuisine with a firm grasp of the high road, and the manager promises the best hospitality with services that match the atmosphere each and every guest desires.
The name “DODICI” means “12” in Italian.
The name was chosen with this in mind: one year = 12 months, and by using ingredients that reflect the four seasons in abundance and by changing the course content each month, we hope our guests will discover something new even if they come back every month.
We use ingredients we can serve with confidence, such as pesticide-free vegetables from Ishiwari Farm in southern Kyoto, Kyoto duck and venison from Kameoka City, and Omi beef from Nakagawa Livestock Breeding in Omi, Shiga Prefecture, and try to cook them in a way that maximizes their original flavor while enjoying all five senses.
We have about 500 bottles of wines from Italy, France, California, Chile, and other countries in the world to pair with the best courses.
Our manager, who has honed his skills at famous restaurants in Kyoto and holds sommelier certifications in two countries, will provide pairings that match each individual’s tastes as well as the progress of the food and wine.
We are always striving to create a space where you can enjoy your meal and make new discoveries, no matter when you visit us.
